Problem Gambling Awareness Month Goals:
-
To increase public awareness of problem gambling and the availability of prevention, treatment, and recovery services.
-
To encourage healthcare providers to screen clients for problem gambling.
Every Story Matters
This year's theme, "Every Story Matters," is a reminder that every narrative, battle, and triumph related to problem gambling is significant. Throughout the month, the National Council on Problem Gambling will aim to elevate these stories, fostering understanding and support within communities. Together, let's amplify awareness, break down stigmas, and emphasize that when it comes to problem gambling, Every Story Matters. #PGAM2024
